At Still Here 19146, we aim to preserve the stories of our Black elders, tell their stories and share their wisdom. Our mission is to bring the past to life through the voices of those who experienced it first-hand. We believe that learning about the past through interviews with the people who experienced it directly gives us the chance to record, preserve and share those incredible memories. To not preserve these stories and share them, means losing all of the experience and wisdom gained throughout a lifetime. It also means missing the opportunity for future generations to look at the past through the eyes of someone that has lived through and learned from it.
